Matvey Basov
(Матвей Басов)

Was born on June14-th, 1950 in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.
1956 -  S.P. Katkov children’s studio
From 1963 until 1967 Matvey has studied at Special School of Art for Talented Children in Minsk /Belarus/.
In 1964 Matvey received a Bronze Medal Award for the drawing at International Children’s Art Competition in Italy.
1967 – 1971 – the years of art education in The Art School of Minsk /Belarus/.  
From 1988 he is a member of League of Artists of Belarus.
From 1981 until now Matvey has exhibit his works more than in 130 National and International Art Show in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, USA, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, France, Switzerland and Canada, Estonia, Denmark, Lithuania.
